Autumn line up at Quarterhouse announced

The Autumn line up at Quarterhouse features stand up comedy from well known faces and emerging stars including Julian Clary, Jenny Éclair, Rich Hall, Isy Suttie, Russell Kane, Lee Nelson, Felix Dexter, Alun Cochrane and Greg Davies.
Live music highlights include the Folkestone Skabour Festival featuring The Beat, Arthur Kaye and The Originals, Intensified and more; Dub Pistols, the Beatles Blues and Blue Violin Tour, Seth Lakeman, Oxjam, Cancer Bats (supported by Trash Talk), Bluesky Pie nights, 3 Daft Monkeys, The Fugitives, Pama International, The Floyd Effect and Oysterband Acoustic.
Live performances include an Evening with Blowers (Henry Blofeld), A Friends of the Marlowe Magic Evening, Darren Shaw and the Dynamics and the Shakespeare Schools Festival.
Weekly Thursday film screenings continue with Four Lions, Cemetery Junction, The Disappearance of Alice Creed and more.
Fizz Family Sundays also return offering monthly Children’s Shows such as The Amazing Bubble Man, Twinkle Twonkle, How the Koala Learnt to Hug and A Little Bird Told Me. These shows are all preceded by FREE Creative workshops in the Quarterhouse foyer.
Plus, this year’s Folkestone Book Festival will take place between Friday 5 and Saturday 13 November. Authors announced so far include Arthur Smith, June Spencer (Peggy from the Archers), John Julius Norwich, The Fitzrovia Radio Hour and comedian Jeremy Hardy. There will also be special events for children over the first weekend of the Festival and the popular Schools Gala.
