This is just an update to let you know that the LEJOG challenge has been completed and we are safely back home!
The challenge was to cycle from Lands End to John O’Groats in 10 days, but we gave it an extra big final 2 days and ended up completing the whole 876 miles within just 9 days (19th - 27th July).
There were some incredibly difficult hills (a bit repetitive too!) as well as some rather scary moments, balanced by some beautiful scenery and a great deal of satisfaction.
Thank you so much to:
- my wonderful support team (Mum, Eddy, & Jenny)
- all who sponsored me
- all who have been giving me encouragement via phone, email and text whilst away
- those super people who came and met me en route to encourage me
- all you valuable prayer troops who prayed for me so regularly
- and of course to my family who (eventually) let me do this!
If you would like to watch a slideshow to get a better feel of what occurred - you can view it below.
Many thanks again to everyone…and if you see me walking a little funny then you’ll know why.
