Why we want to hear from you?

The purpose of The All Day Breakfast is to facilitate a community where you cannot only make the news you can share it with everyone in the community in which you live. It’s a place to share, discuss and debate news, opinions and ideas. Hopefully it will inspire you to participate in the discussions as well as vote for ideas that you like.

What type of content can I post?

You are free to put ANY type of content on The All day Breakfast and here are a few examples to get you started.

1. General community news you’d like to share
2. An opinion you have on a particular subject
3. A complaint you want to make public
4. A review; restaurant, shop, book, film, theatre etc.
5. Start a petition and canvas support for a community project
6. Publicise a local event or an interest group
7. Ask for help, support or advice

Who is looking at the content and comments?

We have a team here who are looking at what is being posted for two reasons. The first is to ensure that there is no inappropriate news, opinions or comments posted here. For this reason there is a short delay between posting something new and it being live on the site. If we deem content to fall into this category it will not be placed live, the content deleted and the user will be banned. The second and more positive reason is that we’ll be looking for the big issues, the big questions being asked and the hottest topics so that if necessary we can leverage opinion here and make sure we put those topics in front of people who can make a change.

What about my privacy?

When you register you will be asked for a user name and that is the name that will be displayed next to any posts or comments you make. You do not have to use your real name to post or comment. We will however need a valid e mail address in order to validate you on the site and confirm your password. Rest assured however that your e mail address will never be given to any other third party company. we get enough junk mail ourselves to know that its the last thing you’ll want to receive. We may from time to time email you with any new developments on The All Day Breakfast but that’s as far as it goes.

Rules for using the site?

This site is moderated for the purpose of ensuring that it is not misused. Abusive comments, offensive or racist language will be removed and site users maybe barred from making further posts or adding comments.

Our aim is not to anesthetise the posts and comments it is purely to ensure that the site is used for its intended purpose. Whether comments are favorable or unfavorable we will at all times try to ensure these are left un-moderated.
